Usage

The 29” wheeled version on the Tuareg brings all the design and performance of the regular 26” wheeled model but with added “rolling ability”. A very specialist machine indeed.

Design

As with all Van Nicholas models, performance is paramount but aesthetics satisfy desire. The Yukon geometry is set to enhance day/multiple day long comfort and stability, yet offers rewarding handling for fast paced club riding too. The classic dimensions are created to produce a laterally stiff yet vertically compliant ride.

Material

Full 3AL/2.5V Ti construction using aerospace grade cold-worked, tapered and size-specific and multi-shaped tubing with CNC machined detailing. Available in 14, 16.5, 18, 19.5 inch.

» Chain Stays: Oversized 25.4mm, Tapered, and Ovalized.
» Down Tube: 40mm Reinforced gusseted down tube, greater head tube strength and stiffness
» Head Tube: Traditional Lightweight (Non-Integrated) 11/8" externally and internally CNC machined
» Seat Stays: 22.2mm Hourglass Round shaped and Tapered.
» Seat Tube: 32mm Round Shaped with Internal 27.2mm Sleeve.
» Top Tube: 32mm Tear Drop Shaped for extra Vertical and Lateral Stiffness (Size 14, 16.5, 18")

» CNC machined 3-Dimensional Sculpted 7mm thick titanium dropouts.
» CNC machined 68mm English threaded bottom bracket.
» Extended seat tube increases stand over height while creating a smaller and stiffer front triangle.
» Optimal size specific tubing (Larger diameter tubing used on larger size frames).
